Spring Summer 2018 campaign
The protagonists of the new Spring Summer 2018 advertising campaign are the women of the Herero ethnic group, from Namibia. Herero women, till this day, still dress in European colonial-style clothing of the late twentieth century, a custom first imposed on them during German colonization. Their atypical cow-horned headgear distinguishes their style, a hat that Herero women never take off in public. The proceeds of the photo shoot have been donated to the association “Mammadù Italia Onlus” which, since 2010, has been dedicated to the development of humanitarian projects in Namibia, and particularly aimed at improving the quality of life of mothers and their children.
